FCT Water Treatment Chemistry

FCT Water Treatment provides a wide variety of products to meet any potential water treatment conditions. As water treatment professionals, we recognize that no water source is the same and with unique water conditions brings unique treatment needs. Our product line was strategically designed to meet 95 percent of water treatment needs, but our blending plant in Greeley and our formulation chemists offer product customization to handle even the most difficult water conditions such as hard water, biological fouling and more. FCT Water Treatment chemistries are compatible with various treatment technologies including oxygen scavengers, water softeners and deionization.

Boiler Water Chemicals

SYSTEM PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BOILER BWT1300 Standard Oxygen Scavenger for both Firetube and Watertube boilers.
BWT2001 Morpholine for use in power plants.
BWT7007 Standard Neutralizing Amine blend for steam line treatment.
BWT7007FG Neutralizing Amine blend for steam line treatment in accounts where steam comes in direct contact with food.
BWT4000 Flagship internal treatment from which all other iterations will be derived. Designed for lower pressure boilers with low hardness in feed water and good O2 scavenging.
BWT4000A All-in-one product for small package boilers.
BWT4000B All-in-one product for small package boilers in food and beverage applications, particularly breweries.
BWT4000FG Internal treatment for food grade accounts where steam comes in direct contact with food.

Cooling Water Chemicals

SYSTEM PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
COOLING FCT4008 Standard all-organic scale inhibitor for use in evaporative cooling systems with scaling tendencies and minimal corrosion issues.
FCT4408 All-organic scale inhibitor used in water where Iron make-up is 0.5-1 ppm.
FCT4107Ba Inhibitor to be used in corrosive water that has Strontium and Barium in the make-up.
FCT3001BT Zinc based corrosion inhibitor.
FCT5100TT Molybdate based corrosion inhibitor.
FCT4008TT Inhibitor to be used in high scaling and/or high corrosion conditions.
FCT8109TT Inhibitor to be used in systems with high levels of silica in the make-up water.
Bellacide 355 Non-oxidizing biocide that is good algaecide and good with bacteria and biofilm. Good penetrating qualities. Use to clean up dirty systems then switch to Bellacide 301; product of choice for closed loops.
Bellacide 301 Non-oxidizing biocide that is good algaecide and good with bacteria and biofilm. Good penetrating qualities but not as good as Bellacide 355. Use in relatively clean systems to maintain control.
Stabrom 909 Strong oxidizing biocide that is effective at higher pH range than standard bleach. Lower dose can be used as well.

Closed Loop Chemicals

CLOSED LOOP CC1200 Standard Nitrite, borate, silicate closed loop inhibitor.
CC490 Sweet water closed loop product (food grade).
CC500 Molybdate based corrosion inhibitor to be used where there are issues with biological fouling or very corrosive water.

Precipitants

SYSTEM PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRECIPITANTS WT007 Calcium polysulfide-based precipitant used for flow-through and microfiltration precipitation systems. Very cost effective, especially if sludge recycling is employed.
WT140 A DTC-based precipitant best suited for batch treatment of wastes containing strongly chelated nickel.
WT660 Suitable for flow-through precipitation. It provides an extremely wide operating window and can be used without a coagulant with optional sludge recycling.
WT672 All-purpose precipitant suitable for treating a variety of waste streams typically encountered in the metal finishing industry.
WT676 A concentrated proprietary blend for chelated or complexed heavy metals suitable for batch treatment and flow-through precipitation systems. A coagulant is normally needed in conjunction with this product.
WT679A Precipitant suitable for membrane filtration systems.
WT680 A blend of organic and inorganic sulfur-based chemistry that addresses a variety of mixed metal waste streams.
WT721 An inorganic precipitant that does not out-gas at low pH levels and is not toxic to aquatic environments. Particularly effective for a wide variety of metals.
WTFe Iron powder blend suitable for batch treatment and chelated nickel solutions.

Coagulants

SYSTEM PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
COAGULANTS WT300 An inorganic coagulant and detackifier suitable for solutions which contain organic solvents.
WT426 A proprietary iron-based product that includes an organic cationic coagulant. It is effective as a replacement for ferrous sulfate.
WT431 An economical aluminum sulfate-based inorganic coagulant well suited for low pH coagulation requirements.
WT470 An aluminum chlorohydrate-based coagulant with organic water-soluble polymers. Is well suited for a variety of coagulation requirements especially in the presence of surfactants or organics.
WT500 A series of organic coagulants including polyamines and DADMACs.

Polymers
